Firebird Women’s Track & Field Capture 3rd Place at ECC Indoor Championship

Staten Island, New York – “This has been the most competitive ECC Indoor Championship and it did not disappoint”, stated University of the District of Columbia Head Coach Joel Phillip. “I am very proud of the way the ladies went out and competed. We have a talented group; the ladies gave their all.” The Firebird Women’s Indoor Track & Field team finished 3rd out of 11 teams on Saturday, February 16th at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Center, in Staten Island, New York.
