UDC’s Temera Duncan Named ECC Elite 18 Honoree in Women’s Indoor Track & Field

Staten Island, N.Y. - On Friday evening, Temera Duncan (St. Andrew, Jamaica) of University of the District of Columbia was honored as the East Coast Conference Elite 18 Award winner for the sport of women's indoor track and field. Duncan was presented the award at the ECC Indoor Track & Field Championships awards ceremony. The ECC Elite 18 honor is awarded to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade point average competing in each of the ECC's 18 championships.

Duncan, a sophomore, is an accounting major with a perfect 4.0 GPA. She helped the Firebirds to a victory in the 4x400m relay on Friday evening and also posted a fifth place finish in the 400m dash, along with breaking many personal records this season.
