Six Individual Firebirds Earn All-East Coast Conference Honors Across 10 Track & Field Events

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY – Six different Firebird student-athletes claimed All-East Coast Conference honors across 10 different track & field events as the league office announced the Indoor Track & Field First and Second Team All-Conference awards based on the results of the ECC Championship meet on February 21st.

SOUTH HUNTINGTON, NY - Despite extraordinary individual performances on the track in the sprint events, the Firebirds could not overcome the team depth of new champion Roberts Wesleyan University and runner-up Georgian Court, as they finished 3rd overall in their quest to win the ECC Indoor Track & Field Championships a 3rd straight time.
