Track & Field Head Coach Alton McKenzie to Appear on In and Out of Sports Radio Show Sunday
WASHINGTON, DC – University of the District of Columbia Track & Field Head Coach Alton McKenzie will appear on the In and Out of Sports Talk Radio show hosted by UDC alum Butch McAdams this Sunday, March 24th, at 12 p.m.
McKenzie, who has been at the helm of the Firebird cross country and indoor and outdoor track & field programs since January 2011, will talk about his teams' quick ascension into East Region powers, the indoor track & field squad's inaugural East Coast Conference Championship, and the indoor team's long list of individual accolades this season. The interview will also highlight junior Shauna-Kay Creary's historic indoor season which included a heroic performance in the ECC Championships meet and an appearance as the first ever University of the District of Columbia long jumper in the NCAA Indoor Championships meet in Birmingham, Alabama.
