INDIANAPOLIS – Junior Shauna-Kay Creary of the University of the District of Columbia, has been announced as a participant for the 2013 NCAA Division II Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championships in the Long Jump event. Student-athletes qualified for the championships by reaching the automatic and provisional standards established for each event.

WASHINGTON, DC - With the release of the newest US Track & Field and Cross CountryCoaches Association (USTFCCCA) poll, the Firebirds’ 4x400 relay team have continued to holdstrong as the 2nd fastest team in the region and 14th fastest in the nation among NCAA Division II schools.

Junior Rochelle Nelson was one of the team's top performers last year despite a shortened season due to injuries.

Nelson had stellar races inboth the 400M Dash and 4x400m Relay on Saturday at the Patriot Games, hosted by GeorgeMason.

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY – Junior Shauna-Kay Creary of the University of the District of Columbia women's indoor track and field team, has earned her second consecutive East Coast Conference women's field athlete of the week honor for her performance in the week ending January 20th.

Junior Shauna-Kay Creary had a terrific all-around performance which included an NCAA Provisional Qualifying mark in her first time ever competing in the Triple Jump.
