UDC 4X 400 METER RELAY TEAM TO COMPETE IN NCAA TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Washington, DC-- The University of the District of Columbia’s Women’s Indoor 4x400 Meter Relay Team has qualified for the 2009 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships. A total of 400 participants will compete in the championships.

New York, NY: February 27, 2009—Junior runner Stella Sang (Kapsabet, Kenya) punched her ticket to the NCAA Indoor Championships in Houston, Texas with an automatic qualifying time and indoor school record in the 800m, running 2:12.32 tonight at the NYU Fastrack Invitational in New York, New York.
