Simoné Pärn Earns ECC Women’s Tennis Elite 19 Award!

Flushing, N.Y.- Simoné Pärn was honored as the East Coast Conference Elite 19 Award winner prior to the East Coast Conference Championship Semi Final match.

The Elite 19 award is given to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade point average competing in each of the ECC's 19 Championships.

Pärn (Pärnu, Estonia native) is a junior Biology major and currently has a perfect 4.0 GPA. Since transferring to UDC last year Simone has held the No.1 position in both singles and doubles. Earlier she was selected to the ECC ALL-Conference First-Team for her performance this season. She went 10-4 in singles and 9-2 in doubles, both at No.1.
