Washington, DC- The University of the District of Columbia’s Athletic Department will be hosting a series of Town Hall meetings, with the first installment set to begin on Monday August 3rd, at 7:00pm. This meeting will be to discuss plans for the Fall semester and the precautions that staff as well as Student-athletes will need to take upon arriving on campus.

Washington, DC- The University of the District of Columbia’s Women’s Tennis Head coach Theodore “Dickie” Mahaffey III, was named the ECC Coach of the Year. Mahaffey led the Firebirds to a 10-1 record (4-1 ECC) to earn the No.2 seed in the 2019 ECC Championship.

Flushing, N.Y.- The University of the District of Columbia’s Women’s Tennis team defeated St. Thomas Aquinas College 4-1 in the ECC Championship Semi Finals to advance to the Finals. The firebirds (11-1) will face off against No.1 seed Queens college tomorrow at 12:00pm.

Waltham, Mass.- The University of the District of Columbia’s women’s tennis team finished out their last non-conference game of the season with a win over Bentley University. The Firebirds are now 9-0 on the season with two more conference games to go before the ECC Championships.
