Freshman Madison Boykin scores season high two goals in home game against Post University

Washington, DC- The University of the District of Columbia Women's Lacrosse Team scored a season high four points in loss against Post University, Monday afternoon at the sports complex.

Madison Boykin, who scored the first goal for UDC, took 10 shots and scored a season high of two goals, four groundballs and three draw controls. Senior Amy Rock also had packed stats with two goals, six ground balls and three draw controls. Overall, the Firebirds led the Eagles 16-11 in draw controls, 23-20 in ground balls, 6-4 in caused turnovers and 16-11 in saves!

Despite the strong effort shown by our lady Firebirds, they fell to the Eagles 21-4. This puts UDC 0-3 overall and 0-2 in conference play.

UDC will face off against Holy Family University on Wednesday March 13 at 2:15pm.
