GRAND LAKE, CO – The University of the District of Columbia Women’s Lacrosse team was one of 46 Division II schools and 275 schools across NCAA Divisions I, II and III and the NAIA to be named a Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad as announced by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association.

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY – The University of the District of Columbia’s Amber Walls became the first Firebird women’s lacrosse student-athlete to earn All-East Coast Conference as she was announced a Second Team selection on Thursday, May 5th.

Senior midfielder Amber Walls set program records for points (8) and goals (7) in a game. She ends her career with 50 goals.

WASHINGTON, DC – The University of the District of Columbia women’s lacrosse team was defeated, 19-13 by East Coast Conference foe Molloy College on Sunday afternoon at Georgetown University’s Cooper Field despite a spirited effort on the Firebirds’ Senior Day.

Senior Amber Walls won a game-high five draw controls and scored a career-high tying four goals.

WASHINGTON, DC – The University of the District of Columbia women’s lacrosse team took a 1-0 lead less than a minute into the action, but surrendered 20 unanswered goals in a lopsided, 20-1 loss vs. No. 16 nationally-ranked Dowling College in both teams’ East Coast Conference opener Saturday night at Georgetown University’s Cooper Field.

Junior goalkeeper Dani Falco had 10 saves and only eight goals allowed.
