Student-Athlete Orientation Series Set to Begin on August 3rd at 7:00pm.

Washington, DC- The University of the District of Columbia’s Athletic Department will be hosting a series of Town Hall meetings, with the first installment set to begin on Monday August 3rd, at 7:00pm. This meeting will be to discuss plans for the Fall semester and the precautions that staff as well as Student-athletes will need to take upon arriving on campus.
ECC Suspends Intercollegiate Competition for Fall Semester

Washington, D.C.- Freshman guard Latavia Jackson led the Firebirds to a 66-53 victory over the Mercy Mavericks, while putting up a career high 26 points. With this win the firebirds improved 3-6 in league play to tie Queens College for 6th place keeping them in contention to make the playoffs. The Mavericks fell to 1-9 in league play.

The Spartans, who are undefeated in the Conference improved to a 16-3, 8-0 ECC record, while the Firebirds fell to 5-14, 2-6 ECC record.
