Washington, DC- The University of the District of Columbia’s Athletic Department will be hosting a series of Town Hall meetings, with the first installment set to begin on Monday August 3rd, at 7:00pm. This meeting will be to discuss plans for the Fall semester and the precautions that staff as well as Student-athletes will need to take upon arriving on campus.

Rockville Centre, N.Y.- The University of the District of Columbia’s women’s basketball team fell to the Molloy Lions 63-47 on Saturday afternoon at the Molloy gymnasium. The Firebirds fell to 7-15 on the season and 3-7 on the season while the Lions improved to 15-8 on the season and 7-4 in league play.

With this win the firebirds improved 3-6 in league play to tie Queens College for 6th place keeping them in contention to make the playoffs. The Mavericks fell to 1-9 in league play.

King packed the stat sheet with 13 points, eight rebounds, six assists and three steals.

Washington, DC- The University of the District of Columbia women’s basketball team defeated the Salem Tigers 68-64, Wednesday evening at the UDC Gymnasium. The Firebirds improved to a 6-14 overall record, while the Tigers fell to 5-14 on the season.

The Spartans, who are undefeated in the Conference improved to a 16-3, 8-0 ECC record, while the Firebirds fell to 5-14, 2-6 ECC record.
