Mace led the Firebirds with five points but Firebirds fell to No.5 LIU Post.

Washington DC- The University of the District of Columbia men's lacrosse team fell to No. 5 LIU  POST on Saturday afternoon at the UDC Field.

Tyler Mace led the Firebirds with five points scoring three goals and two assists. Mace is ranked third in the conference with 18 assists. Alan Singleton scored two goals for the Firebirds and is ranked third in the conference with 31 goals.

Nikolas Lund-Murray had 15 saves today and is ranked second in the conference with 112 saves. Eric Boco, Edmund Taylor and Syrrus Nash each contributed a goal, but UDC eventually fell to the Pioneers 20-8. This brings their record to 4-6 overall and 0-3 in the conference.

The Firebirds are back in action next Saturday April 13 as they face off against ECC foe Roberts Wesleyan. The game starts at 12:00pm. Join us as we celebrate Mace, Singleton, Lund-Murray, Taylor and Nash for their senior day.
