Firebirds Dominate on the road in Victory over Felician University.

Lyndhurst, N.J.-The University of the District of Columbia Men's Lacrosse team boasts seven scorers in win over Felician University, Wednesday evening at the Lyndhurst Recreation field.

The firebirds dominated from the start out scoring the Golden Falcons 8-0 with Edmund Taylor scoring three back-to-back goals in the last few minutes of the first quarter.

UDC went on to score five more goals between the second and third quarters bringing the score to 13-0 going into the last stretch. The Golden Falcons was able to break their shooting drought when Jefferson Jacob scored their first goal of the game in the first few minutes of the last quarter. The Firebirds responded with back-to-back goals by Tyler Mace and Alan Singleton. The Firebirds went on to win the game 16-2.

Singleton and Taylor led the team with four goals each. Jeffrey Vo, Jacob Saunders and Eric Boco all had two assists. Turner Allison led the Firebirds with seven ground balls.

The Firebirds look to face off against ECC foe Mercy College on Saturday March 30 at 2:30pm at the UDC Field.
