Nikolas-Lund Murray and Turner Allison Sweep the East Coast Conference Men’s Lacrosse Weekly Honors

WEST BABYLON, NY – The University of the District of Columbia's Nikolas-Lund Murray and Turner Allison collected ECC weekly honors as they went 2-0 for the week ending Sunday, March 18th. 

Lund-Murray, a junior goalie from New Westminster, British Columbia, earned ECC Defensive Player of the Week, as he was in unstoppable form in between the goal as he saved a total of 20 shots off 35 shots. He is currently 1st in the ECC with an incredible 92 saves, and is in 2nd for saves percentage with 61.7. 

Allison, a freshman attack/midfield from Pointe Claire, Quebec, Canada, earned ECC Rookie of the Week for his performance this past week. He contributed to UDC's attacking firepower that saw the Firebirds score 30 goals with Allison adding six goals and one assist for seven points. 

In addition, senior LaRon Hinton made the Honor Roll for his performances that saw him get 11 points off eight goals and three assists. 

The Firebirds will be back in action, Saturday, March 24th, against Georgian Court at 12PM.
