High School: Dual-sport athlete at Garfield HS in Woodbridge, VA...he played multiple positions in football: wide receiver, cornerback, strong safety, kick-returner and punt returner, and midfield and attack in lacrosse...led team to 8-8 record his senior year in lacrosse...First Team All-Conference defensive back in football for two years and 2nd Team Wide Receiver one year...also earned football team's Special Teams Most Valuable Player...in lacrosse, he set the school record for most points in a season with 69, and most goals in a game, nine...honor roll student.

Personal: LaRon is the son of Stacy Booker and Michael Ward...he has one older brother, Dominick Hobdy, and three younger sisters, Sydney, Aaaliyah, and Tatianna...hobbies include playing video games, and enjoying time with family and friends...other sports he enjoys watching and playing include football and basketball...favorite athletes include James Harden, Richard Sherman and John Wall...favorite movie is Boyz in the Hood...favorite music artist is Outkast...chose UDC for the location and because of the family lacrosse environment...greatest athletic experience was leading his football team to a playoff win...his dream as a college athlete is to break records and be remembered forever...greatest athletic influences are his sisters...most impressive person he has every met is "Papa"...his gameday ritual includes praying to God for a safe game and thanking him for everything.
