Tom Yancheski Earns East Coast Conference Men’s Lacrosse Goalkeeper of the Week

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY – Junior transfer goalkeeper Tom Yancheski was named East Coast Conference Men's Lacrosse Goalkeeper of the Week for his performance in the first-year University of the District of Columbia men's lacrosse program's historic first ever victory over Dominican on Saturday, March 15^th.

Yancheski (Sociology – Phoenix, MD/Harford) made 15 saves in an 11-6 victory over the Chargers for a save percentage of 71.4-percent. He is currently 4^th in the ECC in saves with 58 on the season.

Next up for the Firebids (1-3, 1-1 ECC), they will visit Hood College on Wednesday, March 19^th at 3:30 p.m.
