Bio

Raven Gerald was brought on as Assistant Women's Basketball Coach on October 17th, 2017.

Gerald's most recent coaching experience was at Division I Seton Hall University of the Big East Conference where she served as a Graduate Assistant and Coordinator of Basketball Operations. For nearly two years, Gerald served on Head Coach Anthony Bozzella's staff assisting with administrative and team logistics, as well as student-athlete training and instruction, scouting, recruiting, academic support and many other facets of the program.

Prior to Seton Hall, Gerald was an assistant coach for Pratt Institute in Brooklyn for the 2014-2015 season. She also coached Kids in the Game, LLC during the '14-15 season. 

During her playing career, Gerald spent two years at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (2010-2012), then transferred to West Texas A&M University (2012-2014) where she led her team to the 2014 Division-II National Championship Game. Gerald started all 35 games for a West Texas A&M squad that went 32-3 her senior season.

Originally from Piscataway, N.J., Gerald was a four-year starter at Piscataway High School where she won three conference championships. She was named the 2009 Home News Tribune Player of the Year after averaging 17.5 points per game as a junior.
