ECC Announces Season-Long 30th Anniversary Celebration

West Babylon, N.Y- The East Coast Conference will celebrate 30 years as an NCAA Division II conference throughout the 2019-20 season, the league announced on Wednesday. To kick off the year-long celebration, the league also unveiled a 30-year commemorative logo.

The University of the District of Columbia joined the East Coast Conference back in 2011. Since joining the conference, we've had five student-athletes earn the Excellence in Community & Character award, which is the most prestigious award given to a student-athlete by the conference. We've had over 10 student-athletes earn Scholar-Athlete of the year, and have won Championships in multiple sports such as, Indoor & Outdoor Track & Field, Tennis and Women's Basketball.

The Firebirds have made tremendous strides since joining the ECC and look forward to making many more!
