Quadire Truesdale – November Male Athlete of the Month
Truesdale had an impressive season-opening month of November to help lead the Firebirds to four straight wins and a 4-2 mark to begin the season.
In UDC’s last game of November, an 88-75 win at home vs. Nyack College, Truesdale registered 15 points, five rebounds and four assists. The game prior to Nyack, he handed out a career-high 11 assists.
Still, it is defensively where the senior point guard really made his mark. The Philadelphia native earned East Coast Conference Men’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week on November 19th for his performance in UDC’s back-to-back wins over Bloomfield College and Slippery Rock. Over the course of those two wins, Truesdale registered 11 rebounds (10 on the defensive glass), six steals and two blocked shots.
